Alfakyd F40 X60 by Alfa Kimya is a short oil chain stopped alkyd resin based on sunflower/soybean fatty acid (~oil content 40%). Exhibits excellent drying and durability, high gloss and gloss retention, resistance is mild in humid conditions and good mechanical properties. Compatible with short oil alkyds, cellulose nitrate, aliphatic polyisocyanate, aromatic polyisocyanate but not long oil alkyds. Alfakyd F40 X60 is suitable for use in auto repair paints, industrial finishes, primers and undercoats.
