Firstcure® ITX by Albemarle is Isopropylthioxanthone (2 & 4-isomer mixture). It is used as an effective photoinitiator for clear or pigmented UV-curable inks, and coatings. Firstcure® ITX shows compatibility with unsaturated polyesters, acrylate monomers and oligomers used in UV-curable systems.
