APFS 70S

APFS 70S by Advanced Polymer is non-ionic fluorosurfactant. APFS 70S acts as a wetting and levelling agent. It exhibits stability, effectiveness in hard water, better spreading, and penetration. It is VOC free and is very effective on hard to wet surfaces such as plastics, oily or waxy substrates, and fluoropolymer or silicone treated fabrics. It reduces the surface tension of aqueous solutions and emulsions to as low as 20 dynes/cm. Possesses stability in concentrated acids, bases and oxidizing solutions. Low use loading level required (0.01-1%). Provides far greater surface tension reduction that can be achieved with either hydrocarbon or silicone-based surfactants. Used in waterborne applications. In coatings, it improves film uniformity, enhances adhesion, and reduces pinholes and craters. In finishes and polishes, it reduces droplet resulting in less spotting, and smoother and more even films. APFS 70Salso used in floor polishes and paints. Complies with TSCA (USA).
