HALOX® SZP-391 by ICL is a non-refractive, most efficient and versatile corrosion inhibiting pigment designed for long-term corrosion protection of coatings systems. It is a blend of strontium and zinc phosphosilicates. It is recommended for solvent-based epoxies, epoxy esters, polyurethanes, short-, medium- & long oil alkyds (both traditional and high solids), polyesters and silicones.
- It is suitable for water-based epoxies, polyurethanes, polyurethane dispersions, water-reducible alkyds, alkyd dispersions, chlorinated polymers and acrylics.
- It is designed for use in high acid value resins, latexes, catalyzed baking systems and vinylidene chloride latexes.
- The fine particle size and low oil absorption of HALOX® SZP-391 makes it the pigment of choice in thin film applications (<1 mil or 25 microns).
