Interactive display area

During the show, Elementis will also present a dedicated display area featuring side-by-side application panels comparing its technologies with market references. These demonstrations will illustrate clear improvements in:

  • Application behavior
  • Formulation efficiency
  • Color development and uniformity
  • Film quality and durability

Featured additive innovations

During the American Coatings Show 2026, Elementis will present a broad portfolio of advanced additive technologies that reinforce its commitment to innovation, sustainable formulation design and high performance- solutions across architectural, industrial and specialty coatings applications.

At the booth, visitors will discover the Opacity Toolbox, a formulation approach developed to optimize opacity while improving sustainability credentials and reducing cost-in-use. This toolbox enables formulators to balance performance with raw material efficiency, supporting more resource responsible coating systems without compromising hiding power or application quality.

HYPOMER MT-2550K delivers a premium matte finish with excellent transparency, consistent gloss across different film thicknesses and enhanced scratch and chemical resistance, while eliminating dust related processing issues. This makes it particularly suitable for durable, high-quality decorative and industrial finishes.

Elementis will also highlight its CVS functionalized additives, engineered to minimize post tint viscosity drop and ensure stable, predictable rheology. By maintaining consistent viscosity after colorant addition, these additives help achieve smoother application, uniform film build and potential cost savings through reduced correction cycles and improved batch-to-batch consistency.

Showcasing bio-based and renewable additives

In line with the industry’s sustainability ambitions, the company will showcase its growing portfolio of bio-based and renewable additives, designed to increase the bio-based content of formulations while maintaining high technical performance in both architectural and industrial coatings. These solutions support reduced carbon footprint and help manufacturers transition towards more responsible material choices without sacrificing quality or robustness.

For high build- and industrial systems, Elementis will feature THIXATROL® AS 8053 and THIXATROL® PM 8058, two high efficiency thickeners that deliver strong, reliable structure through low-temperature activation. This enables energy savings, simplified processing and stable sag-resistance in demanding coating environments, contributing to improved production efficiency and long-term- film durability.

Additionally, the company will present THIXATROL® 5050W and RHEOLATE® 290, advanced solutions tailored for the rapid and efficient development of metallic colors. By ensuring optimal pigment alignment and dispersion, these additives support brilliant, vibrant and uniform metallic finishes with enhanced application smoothness and visual impact.

Throughout the duration of American Coatings Show 2026, Elementis specialists will be available at booth #729 to discuss how its renewable additives, functional rheology technologies, industrial optimization tools and construction solutions can support the development of more sustainable coatings, more efficient production processes, enhanced durability and reduced material and carbon footprints. Whether customers are looking to enhance sustainability, improve process robustness or achieve differentiated aesthetics, our team stands ready to support new possibilities for coatings performance.
