Coating ingredients for Textile Printing inks

RHEOLATE® BIO 5075 by Elementis is a bio-based mid-shear non-ionic synthetic associative thickener (NiSAT). It is an environmentally friendly, VOC-, APEO-, and tin-free polyurethane solution.

• It is designed to give a good balance of leveling and sag resistance in interior and exterior deco paints across all sheen levels.
• Its low viscosity makes it an easy to handle pourable and pumpable liquid.
• It shows excellent compatibility with other associative rheological additives, clay-based thickeners, or cellulosic thickeners for desired rheology.
• It offers broad formulation flexibility, excellent storage stability, ease of incorporation and use, spatter resistance, and pH independence.
• RHEOLATE® BIO 5075 is designed for use in industrial water-based coatings systems, inks and textile coatings.

RHEOLATE® BIO 5010 by Elementis is a bio-based associative thickener for high shear-rate viscosity build in water-borne systems. It is an environmentally friendly, APEO-, VOC-, and tin-free polyurethane solution.

• It provides improved flow and levelling in the gloss and semi-gloss water-based paints than most other viscosity modifiers.
• Its ability to enhance high shear viscosity of water-based paints is desirable for improved applied film build and levelling properties.
• It is compatible with other thickeners and does not detract from gloss or wet adhesion.
• It provides superior spatter resistance, good color acceptance and is a pourable liquid for easy addition with pH independence.
• RHEOLATE® BIO 5010 is used in water-based paints, inks and textile coatings.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.5-5% (thickener solids weight) on total system weight.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture.

SACHTLEBEN MICRO distributed by DKSH is a synthetic barium sulfate. It is acid, weather and alkali resistant. It is inert with extremely narrow particle size range and low specific surface area.

• Exhibits lightness, low abrasive action and an extremely high light reflectance in broad ranges of the spectrum.
• Offers pure whiteness while preserving the original brilliance and hues of colored pigments used.
• It is notable for its extremely low binder requirement and excellent dispersibility.
• Its deflocculating properties makes it possible in combination with titanium dioxide, colored pigments and carbon blacks.
• It can be used to achieve high gloss coatings which are flocculation resistant.
• Recommended for fishing enamels, dispersion paints, printing inks, wood paints and powder coating systems.
• SACHTLEBEN MICRO is FDA approved.
• It is available in Canada.

Yunying™ HEC BR4400H distributed by DKSH is a nonionic, water-soluble hydroxyl ethyl cellulose (HEC)-based thickening agent. It provides excellent water retention, viscosity stability upon tinting and storage viscosity stability.

• It offers very good bio-stable properties.
• It shows high compatibility with pigment paste.
• Yunying™ HEC BR4400H is used in latex paints, paper coatings, waterborne system and textile printing inks.
• This product is available in Asia/Pacific regions.

Yunying™ BR300H distributed by DKSH is an uniform, non-ionic, water-soluble, cellulose ether-based thickener. It provides excellent water retention, viscosity stability upon tinting and storage viscosity stability.

• It possesses very good bio-stable properties.
• It shows high compatibility with pigment paste.
• Yunying™ BR300H is used in latex paints, paper coatings, waterborne system, emulsion synthesis and textile printing inks.
• This product is available in Asia/Pacific regions.

Dispurez® 104 by Incorez is a solvent-free, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion. It has been formulated to offer the best combination of toughness and flexibility to coatings that require durability. Films derived from Dispurez® 104 exhibit excellent hydrolysis and thermal resistance whilst also offering excellent low temperature flexibility, making them particularly suited for waterproofing, boosting performance of acrylic wall coatings and textile applications.

Crilat 1830 by Vinavil is a formaldehyde-and nonylphenol ethoxilated surfactants-free aqueous dispersion of a self-cross-linkable acrylic polymer. It acts as a binder for non-wovens.

• It offers good solvent resistance.
• It crosslinks on drying without added heat and produces no formaldehyde emissions.
• Crilat 1830 is suitable for textile printing, finishing and impregnation.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.

Vinavil® 1411 NF by Vinavil is an anionic aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acrylic copolymer. It is self-cross-linkable and free from external plasticizers and ethoxylated nonylphenol surfactants.

• It features a low free‑formaldehyde content.
• It exhibits excellent mechanical stability and compatibility with mineral fillers.
• It is resistant to chlorinated solvents and forms a transparent, colorless film.
• It offers good wash and dry/wet abrasion resistance to products.
• Vinavil® 1411 NF is used as a pigment binder for screen printing, nonwovens, and wadding processing.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.

TEGO® SML 20 distributed by DKSH is a liquid, non-ionic polyoxyethylene-(20)-sorbitan monolaurate emulsifier. It is a solubilizer for oils and dyestuffs, defoamer and antistatic agents in textile formulations.

• It is compatible with anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants due to its non-ionic nature.
• It demonstrates good environmental behavior as a biodegradable product, and exhibits synergistic effects when used as a co-emulsifier with other surfactants.
• It complies with European Regulation 10/2011 for food contact materials and with FDA 21 CFR 178.3400 (emulsifiers).
• It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, AICS, ECL, PICCS, and China inventories.
• It has a shelf life of at least 1 year.
• TEGO® SML 20 is available in APAC region (Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines).

Yunying™ BR100000H distributed by DKSH is a nonionic thickener. It is a uniform and efficient water-soluble polymer derived from hydroxyl ethyl cellulose. It has strong bio-stability to maintain viscosity over time.

• It can be used across a wide pH range and in different emulsion systems, and offers high compatibility with pigment paste.
• It provides excellent water retention, and ensures excellent viscosity stability upon tinting and during storage.
