Tint-Ayd® HC 6003 by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a highly concentrated, APE (akylphenol ethoxylates)-free titanium dioxide. It is a high strength, ultra-low VOC, in-plant colorant. Exhibits scrub-, water- and blocking resistance. Compatible with acrylic emulsion, vinyl acrylic emulsion, vinyl acetate emulsion, styrene butadiene emulsion, epoxy emulsion. Also compatible with polyurethane (PUD) dispersion and water reducible acrylic, alkyd, polyester and epoxy. Tint-Ayd® HC 6003 is suitable for use in adhesives and sealants.
It is a brown pigment dispersion milled in a phthalate-free plasticizer. Compatible with difficult to pigment systems. It is VOC, APE as well as solvent free. This colorant is stabilized through a proprietary additive package to ensure excellent color control and stability. It does not have health concerns as typical phthalate containing plasticizers. It meets all requirements for acrylic, epoxy, urethane as well as vinyl systems in terms of compatibility, pigment selection, hardness, adhesion and chemical, solvent as well as water resistance. Possesses low viscosity at high pigment concentrations. Offers excellent light fastness and acid as well as alkali resistance. Recommended for caulking applications.
