Altax® (MBTS) by Vanderbilt Chemicals acts as a primary accelerator and scorch-modifying secondary accelerator in NR and SBR copolymers. It exhibits non-staining and non-discoloring properties. It possesses retarder/ plasticizer in Neoprene (G types) and cure modifier in W types. Altax® (MBTS) is designed for sulfur vulcanizable adhesives, sealants and mastics.
