ACTICIDE® by Thor is a range of biocides and antimicrobial preservatives used as in-can preservatives and film preservatives in water-based adhesive and sealant formulations. ACTICIDE® grades protect against microbial degradation, fungal growth, and bacterial contamination, extending shelf life and maintaining the performance integrity of waterborne adhesive and sealant systems during storage and service.

ACTICIDE® CBM 2

ACTICIDE® CBM 2 by Thor is a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (1%), 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (5%) and 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (10%). Acts as an industrial microbiocide. It controls the growth of bacteria and fungi. Used in water soluble and water dispersed adhesives such as animal glues, vegetable glues, natural rubber latices, polyvinyl acetate, styrene-butadiene and acrylic latices. The recommended dosage of ACTICIDE® CBM 2 is 0.05-0.4%.
