Tylose® MH 6000 YP4 by Shin-Etsu acts as a rheology modifier. It is methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose. It exhibits bio stability. It offers low gloss, pigment compatibility and moderate thickening effect as well as very high-water retention, good anti-spattering, low pseudoplasticity and moderate wet scrub resistance. Tylose® MH 6000 YP4 is used in emulsion-based tile adhesives.
