SABIC® STYRENE MONOMER

SABIC® STYRENE MONOMER by SABIC is vinyl benzene. It is flammable and reactive with a distinctive aromatic odor.

It has a low vapor pressure and high refractive index.

Undergoes polymerization readily by heat, light or peroxide catalysts. Polymerization results in volumetric shrinkage (17%) and generation of exothermic heat (17.8 Kcal/mole).

SABIC® STYRENE MONOMER is commonly used in the production of styrene homopolymers and copolymers.

ULTEM™ Resin 1000P

ULTEM™ Resin 1000P by SABIC is polyetherimide-based flame retardant. It is a high-performance polymer that combines excellent thermal properties, exceptional dimensional stability and good chemical resistance. It imparts improved dispersion, faster dissolution in standard solvents, low smoke evolution and toxicity. It can accelerate dissolution times by 4-6. It promotes non-halogenated flame retardance and offers stable di-electrical constant and dissipation factors. ULTEM™ Resin 1000P has a high glass transition temperature together with excellent long-term heat resistance.

SABIC® DECENE-1

SABIC® DECENE-1 by SABIC is a colorless linear alpha-olefin liquid made using a low-pressure ethylene oligomerization alpha-sablin process. It is used in the production of polyalphaolefins, polyol ester, plasticizer alcohols, epoxides and other derivatives.
