Omnapel® 3158 by Omnova Solutions (Synthomer) is a hydrophobic acrylate copolymer. It offers fast penetration, low-temperature cure, UV resistance, and high-temperature stability. It improves the water holdout and hydrophobic properties. It also acts as a binder for nonwovens and saturants for tapes and adhesives. It is used as adhesives for mastic compounds, caulks, and sealants.
