Chemigum® Latex 6387 by Omnova Solutions (Synthomer) is a butadiene and acrylonitrile co-polymer. It is designed to be easily and evenly flocculated by salts in the beater addition process. It acts as the primary binder for fiber gaskets. Chemigum® Latex 6387 shows good resistance towards heat aging, hydrocarbons and oils.
Chemigum® P615-D by Omnova Solutions (Synthomer) is a medium viscosity co-polymer of butadiene-acrylonitrile partitioned with calcium carbonate. It can be used as secondary binder to modify friction materials in combination with phenolic resins. It possesses resistance to swelling. It offers compatibility with many resins for various adhesive applications. Chemigum® P615-D provides bounding on substrates such as leather, felt, cork, wood, aluminum, steel and most plastics.
GenFlo® 3088 by Omnova Solutions (Synthomer) is carboxylated styrene butadiene. It provides soft, tacky and film forming characteristics for excellent adhesion to cured and degassed asphalt and rubber particles. It is used as binder for sports surface. It is solvent-free and water-based for easy clean up. GenFlo® 3088 can be easily diluted in water, minimizing clogging and fouling of application equipment.
