Tylac® 7503 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a vinyl-acetate ethylene copolymer powder that is readily dispersible in water and forms a stable emulsion. It is a high glass transition temperature polymer binder and contains a fine mineral filler as anti-blocking agent. Tylac® 7503 is free from solvents, plasticizers and film-forming aids.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is especially optimized for rheological performance of cementitious and gypsum-based flooring systems such as self-leveling compound.</li> <li>Recommended for construction, cement modification and concrete admixture.</li></ul>

Tylac® 7506

Tylac® 7506 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a vinyl-acetate ethylene copolymer powder which readily disperses in water to form a stable emulsion. It offers enhanced adhesion, flexural strength, plasticity and workability of modified compounds without appreciably affecting flow, thixotropy or water retention.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is especially recommended for blending with inorganic binders such as cement, gypsum, and hydrated lime, or as a sole binder for making construction adhesives and seals.</li> <li>It is soft, flexible, has relatively high ethylene content and glass transition temperature is below freezing point.</li> <li>It can be used in tile adhesives, plasters and thermal insulation systems.</li> <li>Tylac® 7506 is compatible with mortar additives which are used to achieve special processing characteristics.</li> <li>Its water repellency can be significantly affected by additives such as antifoam agents, thickeners, anti-flow additives, flow improvers, superplasticizer agents, retarders, water retention agents and general surfactants.</li> <li>It imparts excellent plasticity to building materials even at low temperatures when added in sufficient amounts.</li> <li>It prevents water penetration when added in very high amount.</li> <li>Designed for tile & grout and EIFS & stucco.</li> <li>Higher plasticity of compositions enhanced with Tylac® 7506 is only observed when over 5% is added based on total weight.</li></ul>

It enhances adhesion, flexural strength, plasticity, and workability of modified compounds without appreciably affecting flow, thixotropy, or water retention.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is especially recommended for blending with inorganic binders such as cement, gypsum, and hydrated lime, or as a sole binder for the manufacture of construction adhesives.</li> <li>It is compatible with mortar additives which are used to achieve special processing characteristics.</li> <li>Tylac® 7501 is used in obtaining troweling compounds that shows high hardness and good adhesion to smooth and organic substrates.</li> <li>It provides excellent waterproofing effect in mortar when added in quantities of 3-6%.</li> <li>Recommended for sealing slurries, plasters, tile adhesives, repair mortars, tile and grout.</li></ul>

It improves low temperature flexibility and reduces high temperature tack, in anionic asphalt emulsions. It increases tensile strength, mechanical stability and chemical resistance. It broadens the temperature range where asphalt film is flexible but not tacky. It exhibits good resistance to oil, grease and solvents. Tylac® 873 is suitable for removable adhesives.
