Arconate® HP by LyondellBasell is a high purity cyclic carbonate. Used as a reactive diluent to reduce cost and to improve handling and processing properties in applications such as isocyanate (PMDI) adhesives and urethane adhesives. Reacts with amines to form carbamates. Arconate® HP undergoes hydroxy alkylation and trans esterification. Offers high boiling point and flash point and low order of toxicity.
