Arconate® 1000 by LyondellBasell is an amber color polar solvent. It is a cyclic carbonate that reacts with amines to form carbamates, undergoes hydroxy alkylation and transesterification. It is used as a reactive diluent to reduce cost, improve handling and processing properties in applications such as isocyanate (PMDI) adhesives and urethane adhesives. It reacts with amines to form carbamates. Arconate® 1000 offers high boiling point, flash point and low odor of toxicity.
