Rhenosin® A by LANXESS is a phenol formaldehyde resin with hexamethylene tetramine. It can be used as a reinforcing resin for solid rubbers for oil- resistant seals. Offers compatibility with NR, SBR, BR, NBR and EPDM. Improves shore hardness and modulus. Reduces scorch time and enhances cure time. Recommended dosage level of Rhenosin® A is 5-15 phr. The storage stability of the grade is 730 days. Rhenosin® W-759 by LANXESS is ether/ester compound-based plasticizer in rubber articles over a wide range of temperatures for seals and gaskets in vehicle construction. Improves low-temperature flexibility of elastomer vulcanizates. Possesses compatibility with CR, NBR, NR, SBR, ECO, EPDM, IIR and low vapor pressure at high temperatures. Provides beneficial effect on heat aging. Recommended dosage level of Rhenosin® W-759 is 5-30 phr. The storage stability of the grade is 1095 days. Rhenosin® C 120 by Lanxess is coumarone-indene resin. Used as a dispersing and a tackifying resin for solid rubbers and bonding solutions. Provides dispersion of fillers and chemicals in diene rubbers such as NR, SBR, BR and NBR. Improves processability, green tack, modulus, tensile strength, elongation at break, compression set and dynamic properties. Reduces crack propagation under dynamic stress. Use level: 3-10 phr. Rhenosin® RB by Lanxess is novolak-based phenol formaldehyde resin. It is used as a reinforcing resin in solid rubbers for oil-resistant seals. It possesses efficiency as a hardener in NR, SBR, BR and EPDM to increase mix viscosity and in NBR to decrease mix viscosity. It increases vulcanizate hardness and can be used in combination with a hardener to reduce scorch time, tensile strength, change vulcanization pattern and increase elongation at break. The dosage level of Rhenosin® RB is 5-15 phr. The storage stability of the grade is 730 days.
