Elvanol™ T-25

Elvanol™ T-25 by Kuraray is a unique polyvinyl alcohol copolymer developed especially for use as a warp size for spun yarns. Exhibits high film strength, abrasion resistance and excellent adhesion. Suitable for acetate, acrylic, cotton, wool, nylon, and polyester spuns and such blends as polyester/ cotton, polyester/ wool, and polyester/ rayon markets. Yarns sized with Elvanol™ T-25 show excellent weaving performance with few loom stops.

Elvanol™ 71-30

Elvanol™ 71-30 by Kuraray is a fully hydrolyzed, medium viscosity polyvinyl alcohol with good flexibility. It can be used alone or often in combination with extenders such as starch, dextrin or clay. Designed for water-based paper and paperboard adhesives, bag adhesives & pastes and in corrugated container board. Also used as a component in industrial adhesives for bonding paper, textiles, leather, films and porous substrates. Suitable for laminating adhesives used in the manufacture of solid fiberboard, linear board, spiral wound tubes and cores. Elvanol™ 71-30 complies with FDA 175.105.

Elvanol™ 90-50

Elvanol™ 90-50 by Kuraray is a fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol. Designed to provide high film strength, tensile & adhesive strength and binding power in relatively medium and low viscosity systems. Offers oil, grease and solvent resistance. Used in adhesives for porous substrates including paper, paperboard and hot water soluble film. Elvanol™ 90-50 complies with FDA 175.105.

Elvanol™ T-66

Elvanol™ T-66 by Kuraray is a unique copolymer grade of polyvinyl alcohol designed for use on spun yarns of cotton, polyesters or blend yarns. It is easier to run on the slasher when higher solids are required in the size box. Ideal for sizing warps for weaving on high speed, shuttle less looms. It washes out at lower temperatures and water flow rates and helps reduce energy costs. Complies with FDA 175.105 for adhesive applications. Elvanol™ T-66 permits the use of “100% PVA” formulas for maximum weaving efficiency and minimum shedding.

Elvanol™ 80-18

Elvanol™ 80-18 by Kuraray is a unique copolymer of polyvinyl alcohol and another monomer. Designed to provide cold water solubility in the final product when reacted properly with caustic. Used in films for sachets to contain detergents or other products. It eliminates contact with chemicals, or provide pre-measured dosage. Elvanol™ 80-18 complies with FDA 175.105 for adhesive applications.

Ideal for use in wet adhesives that require long term storage stability. Its unique structure imparts improved viscosity stability and gel resistance to aqueous solutions while maintaining excellent film properties and adhesive strength. Provides high film strength and oil-, grease- and solvent- resistance. Elvanol™ 75-15 complies with FDA 175.105.

Elvanol™ 51-05

Elvanol™ 51-05 by Kuraray is a partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It is produced by converting polyvinyl acetate into polyvinyl alcohol via saponification process. Exhibits excellent film formation, emulsifying power and adhesion to substrates. Shows good transparency, toughness, as well as tear and puncture resistance. Elvanol™ 51-05 is used in remoisturizing adhesives, water-soluble labels and paper adhesives.
