SEPTON™ 2063 by Kuraray is high performance styrene-ethylene-propylene-styrene (SEPS). It is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) which behaves like rubber without undergoing vulcanization. The SEPS structure generally does not crystallize and exhibits excellent tensile elongation and low temperature properties. It is compatible with tackifiers such as alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resin, hydrogenated terpene resin, petroleum resin and hydrogenated rosin resin. It exhibits excellent balance of properties and versatility. SEPTON™ 2063 is used in hot-melt adhesives and non-woven applications.

SEPTON™ SEEPS by Kuraray consists of block segments of styrene monomer units and hydrogenated conjugated diene monomer units. It exhibits strong shear performance, melt viscosity, and adhesion and tack properties. It can be formulated with other polymers to create the perfect adhesive. It offers low temperature flexibility, high heat resistance, low melt viscosity and application temperature. It shows color stability and superior adhesion to a variety of substrates including non-porous ones. It is suitable for solvent-based hot-melt adhesive and sealant applications. SEPTON™ SEEPS has FDA coverage and good balance of tack, peel and shear.
