2-Hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid tributyl ester. It acts as plasticizer. It is almost colorless and odorless oily liquid, free of foreign materials which is insoluble in water but soluble in alcohols and organic solvents. It is miscible and compatible with all the monomeric plasticizers of polyvinyl chloride. It is used in latex adhesives.
