Japan VAM & Poval, established in 1968, and is headquartered in Sakai, Osaka, Japan. Poval JP-20

Poval JP-20 by Japan Vam & Poval is stable, water-soluble, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol resin for paper- and remoistenable adhesives. It shows good adhesive force to hydrophilic surfaces such as paper and wood. It shows good chemical reactivity, membrane formation such as high film transparency, high strength, excellent gas barrier, clouding prevention and anti-static electricity. It has a hydroxyl group and possesses excellent surface activation, emulsion and dispersion properties. Poval JP-20 is used as an ingredient in vinylon synthetic fibers.
