Poval JP-03 by Japan Vam & Poval is stable, water-soluble, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol resin. It exhibits excellent adhesive force to hydrophilic surfaces such as paper and wood. It shows good chemical reactivity, membrane formation such as high film transparency, high strength, excellent gas barrier, clouding prevention and anti-static electricity. It has a hydroxyl group and possesses excellent surface activation, emulsion and dispersion properties. It is used as an ingredient in vinylon synthetic fibers. Poval JP-03 is designed for remoistenable- and plywood adhesives.
