VeoVa™ 10 by Hexion is vinyl ester of Versatic™ acid 10, a synthetic saturated monocarboxylic acid of highly branched structure containing ten carbon atoms. It imparts a combination of flexibility (medium to low T<sub>g</sub>), hydrophobicity and very good chemical as well as UV resistance. VeoVa™ 9 by Hexion is vinyl ester of Versatic™ Acid 9. It is a synthetic saturated monocarboxylic acid of highly branched structure containing nine carbon atoms. Its homopolymer has a relatively high T<sub>g</sub> of +70 °C. It offers alkali resistance, low surface tension, water repellency and outdoor durability. VeoVa™ 9 provides improved adhesion to non-polar substrates and reduced water absorption.
