KALENE® 800 by H.B. Fuller is a low molecular weight liquid polymer derived by the depolymerization of butyl rubber. It provides gas impermeability, chemical resistance, moisture resistance, good electrical properties, and excellent vibration/sound damping qualities. It vulcanizes at either ambient or elevated temperature with the standard curatives for butyl rubber. It contains no solvents or additives. This grade also displays tack to pressure sensitive adhesives and improves the adhesion of butyl-based adhesives and sealants. KALENE® 800 is used in construction sealants and pressure sensitive adhesives. The shelf life of this grade is 2 years. KALENE® 1300 by H.B.
