KALAR® 5246

KALAR® 5246 by H.B. Fuller is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. It is compatible with a wide choice of compounding ingredients. It offers creep- & cold-flow resistance and compounding economy. It provides an excellent butyl intermediate base for general purpose sealants and tapes. It requires no vulcanization and is readily acceptable in a wide range of solvents. This product extends with high levels of fillers and plasticizers. It is used in industrial sealant-, architectural glazing-, automotive windshield tape, and automotive sealant & sound deadening compound. It is suitable for tire sealant, high-strength thermoplastic mastic, weather-proofing sealant tape, hot-melt glazing compounds, solvent release adhesives, caulks and construction adhesives. The shelf life of KALAR® 5246 is 1 year.

ISOLENE® 40-S

ISOLENE® 40-S by H.B. Fuller is a low molecular weight polymer derived from synthetic polyisoprene rubber. It offers the performance of natural rubber, with the added benefit of lighter color and none of the natural impurities inherent in natural rubber products. This lower viscosity grade softens the resin and improves low-temperature tack & resistance to bleed through. It also acts as an efficient vehicle for powdered additives and curatives into a rubber compound. A slight increase in curative levels may provide optimum performance when using levels above 15-20 phr of ISOLENE® 40-S. It is ideal for pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) formulations based on block copolymers. The shelf life of this grade is 2 years.

Elvace® 739

Elvace® 739 by H.B. Fuller is a PVOH-stabilized vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer emulsion. Contains medium ethylene content. Exhibits excellent water resistance and low VAM (less than 0.1% residual monomer). Offers increased flexibility, cohesive strength and good plasticizer migration resistance. Compatible with fully hydrolyzed PVOH, plasticizers, fillers and humectants. Elvace® 739 is suitable for waterborne adhesive applications.
