ISOLENE® 40-S

by H.B. Fuller

ISOLENE® 40-S by H.B. Fuller is a low molecular weight polymer derived from synthetic polyisoprene rubber. It offers the performance of natural rubber, with the added benefit of lighter color and none of the natural impurities inherent in natural rubber products. This lower viscosity grade softens the resin and improves low-temperature tack & resistance to bleed through. It also acts as an efficient vehicle for powdered additives and curatives into a rubber compound. A slight increase in curative levels may provide optimum performance when using levels above 15-20 phr of ISOLENE® 40-S. It is ideal for pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) formulations based on block copolymers. The shelf life of this grade is 2 years.

ISOLENE® 400-S

ISOLENE® 400-S by H.B. Fuller is a low molecular weight polymer derived from synthetic polyisoprene rubber. It offers the performance of natural rubber, with the added benefit of lighter color and none of the natural impurities inherent in natural rubber products. This high viscosity grade softens the resin and improves low-temperature tack & resistance to bleed through. It also acts as an efficient vehicle for powdered additives and curatives into a rubber compound.
