Polychloroprene rubber designed for use in high strength solution adhesives requiring rapid rates of strength development. Provides fast crystallizing and quick set. Non-staining crystallization-resistant copolymer of chloroprene and 2,3-dichloro-1,3-butadiene. Used in finished products that must remain flexible for long periods at low temperatures. Cure accelerators must
be used to achieve practical cure rates. Neoprene® WB by DuPont is a non-staining polychloroprene that contains a high percentage of gel polymer for good processability. Offers firm compounds with very low nerve. Provides good resistance to heat aging and compression set. Provides vulcanizates with low tensile strength, low elongation, low tear strength, and low resistance to flex cut growth. Neoprene® WB is used in adhesive blends with other types of polychloroprene. Fast dissolving, good rheology polychloroprene rubber designed for use in high strength solution adhesives requiring rapid rates of strength development. Offers good color stability during storage and fast crystallisation. Medium solids, anionic, aqueous polychloroprene dispersion used in adhesives. Provides good flexibility. pH decreases with time. Medium solids, anionic, aqueous polychloroprene dispersion used in adhesives. Produces high modulus and superior ozone resistance. Provides good storage stability. pH decreases with time. Neoprene® AD-20 by DuPont is polychloroprene rubber designed for use in high strength solution adhesives requiring rapid rates of strength development. Offers good color-stability during storage. Neoprene® AD-20 provides fast crystallization. Neoprene® GW by DuPont is sulfur-modified polychloroprene stabilized with a thiuram disulfide. Provides good processing safety and rapid cure in compounds cured with metal oxides. Neoprene® GW offers high resilience, good flex cracking resistance, and good tear strength in compounded vulcanizates. Polychloroprene rubber designed for use in high strength solution adhesives requiring rapid rates of strength development. Offers good color-stability during storage. Provides fast crystallisation. Neoprene® GNA by DuPont is sulfur-modified polychloroprene rubber stabilized with a thiuram disulfide and a staining antioxidant. It can be used in adhesives and sealants where resistance to staining or discoloration of finishes is necessary. Neoprene® GNA provides high resilience, tear strength, and flex cracking resistance in compounded vulcanizates.
