Desmomelt® 540/1 by Covestro is a predominantly linear hydroxyl polyurethane. Desmomelt® 540/1 is used in the formulation of adhesives for use on various materials like leather, rubber, textiles, wood, many plastics, including PU elastomers, plastic films, and aluminum foils. Offers benefits such as a very high crystallization rate, very low thermoplasticity, good adhesion on PVC substrates, and high resistance to the most commonly used PVC plasticizers. Desmomelt® VP KA 8702 by Covestro is an elastomeric polyurethane. Used in hot melt adhesive for industrial textiles as well as footwear and leather goods, rubber, wood, polyurethane elastomers, aluminum foil and plastic films like ABS, PVC blends. Desmomelt® VP KA 8702 offers benefits such as very high rate of crystallization, very low thermoplasticity and good adhesion to flexible PVC. Desmomelt® 530 by Covestro is a linear hydroxyl flexible polyurethane. Used in the manufacture of solvent free hot-melt adhesive films and fleeces for leather, textiles, wood fiberboard, various plastics including polyurethane elastomers and flexible PVC. Offers benefits such as high rate of crystallization and very low thermoplasticity. Desmomelt® 530 provides outstanding adhesion on a large number of materials.
