CAB-O-SIL® H-300 by Cabot is a high surface area fumed silica which imparts a significant increase in viscosity and in reinforcement of sealants. In CAB-O-SIL® H-300 high shear dispersion equipment is required to realize its full benefits. Offers low bulk density, high purity, aggregate structure, submicron particle size and hydrophilic surface chemistry. CAB-O-SIL® ULTRABOUND™ 5760 by Cabot is a polydimethylsiloxane-treated fumed silica. Acts as a rheology modifier for adhesives requiring very high sag resistance and stable bond lines for structural adhesives. CAB-O-SIL® TS-720D by Cabot is a medium surface area, densed form of fumed silica. It has been surface modified with polydimethylsiloxane. It is an outstanding choice for moisture-sensitive systems. The bulk density is mechanically increased for faster incorporation and ease of handling. It offers surface chemistry which makes it a stable rheology control additive for polar systems such as epoxy, urethane, vinyl ester adhesives and bonding pastes. CAB-O-SIL® TS-720D provides low bulk density, high purity, aggregated structure and submicron particle. CAB-O-SIL® CLARUS 3160 by Cabot is fumed silica. It has high-surface-area, small aggregate size and primary particle size. It exhibits a high degree of cleanliness and consistency. It possesses low contaminants and grit levels which lead to improved optical properties. It offers the highest cured Y transmission and lowest yellowing. It enhances performance by providing high levels of reinforcement, transparency and minimal discoloration due to aging. CAB-O-SIL® CLARUS 3160 is suitable for formulations that require elevated mechanical properties coupled with a high level of transparency. CAB-O-SIL® TS-610 by Cabot is a hydrophobic fumed silica, surface treated with dimethyldichlorosilane. It is a high purity silica with an aggregated structure, submicron particle size, low surface area and low bulk density. Offers better flow and leveling as compared to untreated fumed silica. CAB-O-SIL® TS-610 is used for rheology control in non-polar to medium adhesives. CAB-O-SIL® TS-530 by Cabot is a fumed silica, surface treated with hexamethyldisilazane (HMDZ). Possesses high purity, aggregated & hydrophobic structure, submicron particle size and low bulk density. Offers rheology control along with low viscosity and good sag resistance. The treatment replaces some of the hydroxyls on the surface of the silica resulting in increased hydrophobicity and very different performance than untreated silica. CAB-O-SIL® TS-530 is suitable for medium to high polarity adhesive applications. CAB-O-SIL® TS-720 by Cabot is a hydrophobic fumed silica treated with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). It is characterized by medium surface area, high purity, aggregated structure, submicron particle size and low bulk density. CAB-O-SIL® TS-720 is suitable for medium to high polarity systems. Offers thickening efficiency, sag resistance and shear-thinning- & stable rheological performance over time. It is used in epoxy and polyurethane adhesives. CAB-O-SIL® M-5 by Cabot is an untreated, medium surface fumed silica used in adhesives. It possesses high purity, aggregated & hydrophilic structure, submicron particle size and low bulk density. Provides thickening, thixotrophic (shear thinning)-, and anti-settling behavior in liquid systems. It offers dispersibility and improved powder flow. Provides increased hardness, tensile strength and elongation. CAB-O-SIL® M-5 is most efficient in non-polar to medium polarity systems. It is also used in the reinforcement of silicone & organic rubbers. CAB-O-SIL® HS-5 by Cabot is a synthetic, amorphous, colloidal silica. Used as rheology controler for adhesives and sealants. CAB-O-SIL® HS-5 has small particle size, big surface area and high purity.
