CAB-O-SIL® TS-530 by Cabot is a fumed silica, surface treated with hexamethyldisilazane (HMDZ). Possesses high purity, aggregated & hydrophobic structure, submicron particle size and low bulk density. Offers rheology control along with low viscosity and good sag resistance. The treatment replaces some of the hydroxyls on the surface of the silica resulting in increased hydrophobicity and very different performance than untreated silica. CAB-O-SIL® TS-530 is suitable for medium to high polarity adhesive applications.
