BRB Siloen® DA 293 by BRB International BV is an easy to incorporate, silicone-based antifoam emulsion. This defoamer shows high efficiency at very low addition level. It can be diluted with water. It is suitable for aqueous adhesive dispersion. BRB Siloen® DA 293 is mainly designed for industrial applications. The typical addition level is 0.1% to 0.6% by weight as supplied, seldom up to 0.8%. BRB Siloen® WA 264 by BRB International BV is a hydrolytically stable substrate wetting additive based on polyether siloxane technology. It reduces surface tension and is suitable for systems without co-solvents. It exhibits limited foam stabilization, doesn't impact inter coat adhesion (recoatability) and doesn't increase surface slip. It is low in SVHC content, being cyclotetrasiloxane (D4), cyclopentasiloxane (D5) and cyclohexasiloxane (D6) <0.1% respectively. BRB Siloen® WA 264 is used in water-based adhesives applications.
