Highly active polysiloxane based defoamer emulsion with hydrophobic components. It is characterized by good efficiency with little impact on surface integrity. In physically and chemically curing systems based on polyurethanes (including acrylate modification), hydroxyl bearing polyacrylates and acrylate dispersions. It can be combined with silicone based additives to improve surface characteristics. Used in combination with other silicone base adhesives to obtain additional leveling, scratch resistance and substrate wetting properties. Borchers® AF 0670 increases density and efficiently reduces foam formation during production. Its usual dosage amount is approximately 0.1 to 1.5% by weight depending upon total formulation. Tributyl phosphate. Acts as a highly effective silicone-free. It destroys foam and prevents its formulation. In general, no chemical reaction takes place with the product to which it is added and a very slow hydrolysis is expected only in high alkaline media. It is ideal for improving the wettability of animal glues (powders or flakes). The concentrated product is sprayed in an addition of up to 0.05 % on the supply form. Used in glue applications.
