V-Pyrol™ RC by Ashland is a reactive vinyl pyrrolidone monomer. It is an amorphous, clear liquid stabilized with insoluble sodium hydroxide or soluble N,N’-di-sec-butyl-p-phenylenediamine (tenamine). It is a reactive diluent in ultraviolet and electron-beam curable applications for adhesives, an excellent reactive solvent imparting pseudo-cationic functionality to homopolymers and copolymers.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It provides unique solution viscosity reduction and enhanced adhesion to non-polar substrates.</li> <li>V-Pyrol™ RC has a shelf life of 6 months.</li></ul>
