AQUAREZ PVB 605 by Aquaspersions is a water-based dispersion of a polyvinyl butyral plasticized with butyl ricinoleate. It imparts flexibility and softness combined with good tensile strength and transparency when dried at room temperature. It is based on a higher molecular weight polymer with a high plasticizer ratio (7:3). It exhibits low viscosity, increased stiffness, zero VOC content, good storage stability and low sedimentation. It shows resistance towards heat-, UV- and water. It is compatible with water-based polymer dispersions. AQUAREZ PVB DP 596-36 by Aquaspersions is a zero-VOC, water-based dispersion of recycled polyvinyl butyral (PVB) plasticized with triethylene glycol bis(2-ethylhexanoate). It is based on a higher molecular weight polymer. It offers superior tensile strength and forms a tough, transparent film when dried at room temperature. It provides good storage stability, low sedimentation and adhesion to many substrates. AQUAREZ PVB DP 596-36 is recommended for use in adhesives.
