Aquarez PVB 508 by Aquaspersions is a zero-VOC, APEO surfactant-free, water-based dispersion of a polyvinyl butyral plasticized with castor oil. It is based on a higher molecular weight polymer. It offers superior tensile strength and forms a tough, transparent film when dried at room temperature. It possesses low viscosity, enhanced water resistance, storage stability and low sedimentation. It provides adhesion to many substrates like glass, wood and metal. It shows good compatibility with water-based polymer dispersions. AQUAREZ PVB 508 finds application in adhesives.
