ACS Technical Products, founded in 1933 and headquartered in Griffith, Indiana, supplies specialty chemistries widely used in adhesive formulations. EPOXOL® EP189

EPOXOL® EP189 by ACS Technical Products is a bio-based, ultra-low VOC, highly functional epoxy diluent. It exhibits excellent solvency, quickly reducing the viscosity of epoxy systems. Suitable for adhesives, potting compounds, laminates, composites and construction products.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It has a long chain, non-yellowing aliphatic structure and provides excellent toughness, flexibility, abrasion-, impact- & moisture resistance compared to traditional glycidyl ether diluents.</li> <li>It is applicable in systems that can be crosslinked with epoxy groups and is useful for resin synthesis.</li> <li>It is compatible with Bis A, Bis F & Novolac epoxies, and does not cause chain termination.</li> <li>EPOXOL® EP189 has a shelf life of 2 years.</li></ul>

BAER™ XP-9500

BAER™ XP-9500 by ACS Technical Products is a highly functional, non-hazardous, formaldehyde-, BPA- and epichlorohydrin-free curing agent. It is a bio-based, aliphatic liquid epoxy resin designed for adhesives.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It can be blended with other epoxies for heat cured systems.</li> <li>It provides excellent hardness, flexibility and impact strength with high gloss and clarity.</li> <li>It can be cured at temperature 150 - 220°C for 2-30 min in the presence of a suitable catalyst.</li> <li>BAER™ XP-9500 exhibits excellent adhesion to polar substrates and exceptional shelf life.</li> <li>It delivers water-, chemical-, solvent-, scratch- and stain resistance.</li> <li>It is readily biodegradable.</li></ul>

EPOXOL® EM100

EPOXOL® EM100 by ACS Technical Products acts as a plasticizer and asphalt modifier. It is a bio-derived, highly efficient aliphatic soy ester produced using a patented process. It is compatible with common liquid asphalt cement feedstocks and can be added at the terminal or hot mix asphalt (HMA) plant. Suitable for construction, roadway products, barriers and sealants.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is a non-toxic, non-volatile grade with a slight odor and low viscosity.</li> <li>It may be used as a warm mix additive (WMA), compaction aid, anti-strip and low-temperature modifier for PG graded asphalt mix designs.</li> <li>The recommended dosage ranges from 0.5-1% of the liquid by weight.</li> <li>The shelf life of EPOXOL® EM100 is 36 months.</li></ul>
