VINNEX® 8880 by Wacker is vinyl acetate-vinyl laurate copolymer used as a tackifier. Exhibits enhanced flexibility, higher mechanical toughness & optimized crystallinity and enables film blowing with PHB. It has increased melt strength, improved processability, reduced noise of PLA films, maintained transparency, good performance in film sealing and improved adhesion to paper. It does not show reduction in hardness or modulus and enables improved stiffness without affecting biodegradability. VINNEX® 8880 is suitable for hot-melt adhesives at a dosage level of 10-40%.
