PLASTOLYN™ R1140 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is an amorphous, low molecular weight hydrocarbon resin derived from aromatic petrochemical feedstocks. Exhibits color stability, excellent heat-stability, low odor and volatility.
- It is fully hydrogenated to a saturated cyclo-aliphatic structure.
- It is used as a modifier of polyolefin polymers.
- PLASTOLYN™ R1140 Hydrocarbon Resin shows compatibility with natural and synthetic rubbers, butyl rubber, polyethylene and polypropylene polymers, EVA resins, APAO, SIS block copolymers, mPE polymers, mPP polymers, PIB and TPE.
- Recommended for caulks and sealants, hygiene adhesives and other adhesive applications.
