KBP 90

KBP 90 by Shin-Etsu acts as coupling agent. It is aminosilane-water solution. The individual molecules of silane coupling agent contain two types of reactive functional groups that are amino group and alkoxy group characterized by different reactivity thus bonding with both organic and inorganic materials.

• It acts as a sort of intermediary which bonds organic materials to inorganic materials.
• It improves desirable qualities such as mechanical strength, moisture, chemical resistance, and electrical properties.
• KBP 90 is extensively used in adhesives to improve adhesion. It has applications in encapsulates.
