Tapioca starch powder

It is obtained from root called tapioca. Tapioca starch powder can be converted into various forms of modified starches to serve certain purpose for which native corn starch will not be of much use. Glass-O-Tex becomes sticky when it is mixed with water or certain chemicals. It stays sticky over a long period of time. Due to its high viscosity, it is used as a major raw material for making glue forming 80% of the raw materials. It is modified by physical and chemical means to achieve correct use of its properties for appropriate end-uses in paper, textile and food adhesives.
