EXTEM™ Resin VH1003 by SABIC is thermoplastic polyimide-based flame retardant. It exhibits long-term heat resistance, chemical resistance and high limited oxygen index. It promotes non-halogenated flame retardance and offers stable di-electrical constant & dissipation factors. It imparts outstanding flame and exceptional dimensional stability. It has improved dispersion and shows faster dissolution in epoxy systems and standard solvents. EXTEM™ Resin VH1003 also eliminates the drawback of semi-crystalline materials, imidized thermosets and competitive amorphous thermoplastics which can require post-molding curing or crystallization.
