DEGALAN® 4893 F by Roehm is an environment-friendly, thermoplastic methacrylic resin. It provides gel at low temperatures, heat stability, no discoloration at high temperatures and good sound insulation properties. It is used as a binder for manufacturing halogen-free plastisols for underbody sealants in the automobile industry and for spot-welding pastes. DEGALAN® 4893 F exhibits colorfastness, high brilliance, weather-, UV-light- and scratch resistance.
