Pentalyn® H

Supplied byPinova (DRT)- Last Updated on Jan 15, 2024

Pentalyn® H by Pinova (DRT) is a pentaerythritol ester of wood rosin that has been stabilized by hydrogenation. Acts as a tackifier. It is a synthetic, hard, pale amber, thermoplastic resin designed primarily as a tackifier. It contributes improved resistance to oxidation, greater heat stability and better retention of color. Also offers greater retention of tack imparting properties than ordinary rosin esters. It resists aging and has high bonding strength. It is compatible with natural rubber, neoprene and SBR latex based adhesives. Pentalyn® H is used in pressure-sensitive adhesives needing heat, light, oxidation, and moisture resistance. It is readily formulated into solvent and hot melt-type adhesives.
