Foral® DX by Pinova (DRT) is a thermoplastic, acidic resin produced by hydrogenating wood rosin to an exceptionally high degree. Acts as a tackifier and plasticizer. It enables excellent heat stability & color retention, good acid functionality and low odor. It is the palest, most highly stabilized rosin commercially available. It has better initial color and color retention, and even greater oxidation resistance. It is compatible with natural & synthetic rubber goods. Foral® DX is used in pressure sensitive solvent adhesives and hot melt applied adhesives. It is also used in sealant compounds.
