Foral® AX by Pinova (DRT) is a thermoplastic, acidic resin produced by hydrogenating wood rosin. It acts as a plasticizer and tackifier. It is used in pressure-sensitive solvent adhesives and hot melt-applied adhesives. It is also used in sealant compounds.
- It is the palest and most highly stabilized rosin commercially available.
- Enables excellent heat stability & color retention, good acid functionality, exceptional color, and low odor.
- Possesses wide compatibility with polymers and solvents. It has better initial color and even greater resistance to oxidation.
