POLARIS II by Pinopine is a triethylene glycol ester of gum rosin. It is used as a tackifier. It is a light-yellow viscous liquid with excellent tack. It shows good compatibility with natural & synthetic rubber, EVA polymer, wax and aliphatic hydrocarbon resin. POLARIS II is recommended for floor-coating adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and permanent tack hot-melt adhesives. Its shelf life is 6 months under normal storage conditions.
