Calimulse® SLS by Pilot Chemical is a 30% solution of emulsion polymerization grade sodium lauryl sulfate. It is manufactured via a continuous air/sulphur trioxide process from a natural alcohol feedstock to the highest levels of purity and consistency. No bleach or oxidizing agent is used in making Calimulse® SLS. It has no formaldehyde content. It can be blended with non-ionic surfactants to create high performance acrylic emulsions. Used in coatings. Calimulse® SLS is biodegradable, naturally derived, halogenated solvent-free, CFR 21 and 40 approved. It is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, EINECS, ENCS, ECL, New Zealand Inventory, PICCS and TSCA inventory.
