Unilin™ 550 alcohol

Unilin™ 550 alcohol by NuCera Solutions (Chase) is an adhesion promoter. It is a fully saturated, long chain, linear primary alcohol. It compatibilizes with polar polymers and reacts to form derivatives. It improves the compatibility with hydrocarbons, controls the melting point and lowers the melt viscosity. It possesses higher molecular weight, greater crystallinity and higher purity with 80% primary alcohol concentration. Unilin™ 550 alcohol offers hardness with improved compatibility in polyolefin as well as hydrocarbon-based systems.
