Polywax™ 655 polyethylene by NuCera Solutions is a fully saturated homopolymer of ethylene that exhibits a high degree of linearity and crystallinity. Acts as a rheology modifier for hot melt adhesives. Exhibits sharp melt point, fast recrystallization, low melt viscosity, excellent heat stability and resistance to chemical attack. Offers limited solubility in solvents, hardness relative to molecular weight as well as fast set time from melt phase. Polywax™ 655 polyethylene also provides fast migration to surface.
