Thioplast® G44

Thioplast® G44 by Nouryon is used as a reactive diluent in Thioplast® G-based sealants to formulate low viscosity, flexible, and highly elastic sealants. These sealants are ideal for aerospace and construction applications, offering superior performance in high noble gas retention and low moisture vapor permeability.

• It is used as a highly reactive partner in amine-cured epoxies (such as Bisphenol A, F, AF, DGE, and Novolac) to enhance and optimize tensile strength, impact strength, and elasticity, reducing brittleness.
• It is ideal for protecting metal or concrete surfaces, floors, and pipelines.
• It provides pot-life, tensile strength, adhesion, and elongation at break by selecting from a variety of compatible plasticizers, fillers, and other additives.
• Thioplast® G44 has a shelf life of minimum 3 years.
